Your gift on Giving Tuesday will help support our mission. ARCS Foundation Oregon Chapter advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to academically outstanding PhD students who are U.S. citizens studying to complete degrees in science, engineering, math, technology and medical research at Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
It’s a simple idea fueled by the power of generosity and collaboration. Find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.
ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation is a national volunteer women's organization dedicated to advancing science and technology in the United States. Since the Oregon Chapter's incorporation in 2004, 175 scholars have received scholar awards. Private donations from members, friends, corporations, and foundations have enabled our chapter to donate over $2.8 million to PhD students studying at OHSU, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.
